Polityka historyczna czy historyczna świadomość? Działalność Instytutu Pamięci Narodowej

Abstract
W latach 2000-2011 Instytut Pamięci Narodowej realizował przede wszystkim misję poszerzania społecznej świadomości historycznej, której podstawowym elementem było z jednej strony „odzyskanie” pamięci wydarzeniach ocenzurowanych i usuniętych z dziejów w konsekwencji celowych działań reżimu. Z drugiej natomiast strony dekonstruowanie reżimowej propagandy historycznej. Zarazem od 2006 roku realizował politykę historyczną (politykę pamięci) – rozumianą jako promowanie tematów wybranych ze znacznie szerszej palety przedsięwzięć edukacyjnych realizowanych przez IPN czy wyników prowadzonych przez jego historyków badań naukowych. Dynamika tych działań wyraźnie załamała się po 10 kwietnia 2010 roku.
