Editorial: Beyond the Horizon

Abstract
At the beginning of the academic year 2010-2011 we published the very first issue of our journal: “Horizons of Politics.” It was our aim to provide a forum for discussions of various aspects of politics as a field of human activity and of political science, and as a field of thoughtful reflection upon politics. We do hope that our humble journal has helped to stimulate academic dialogue in Poland. The problems we have already discussed (e.g. the political nature of man; religion and politics, Europeanization) are of great importance not only for Poland and Polish citizens. Furthermore, the fast pace of the global changes to higher education systems prove that we should reach further and expand the outreach of our journal.
