RESEARCH OBJECTIVE: The main goal of this article was to identify and analyze the competences of the future in the context of virtual team members.
THE RESEARCH PROBLEM AND METHODS: The desk research method based on the analysis of available source data was used to identify 4.0 competencies of virtual team employees. The work is a theoretical analysis that will allow you to define the competences that will be key in an effective virtual team.
THE PROCESS OF ARGUMENTATION: The article consists of three parts. The first of them characterizes the phenomenon of a virtual ensemble. In the second and third part of the work, the competencies of future employees in virtual teams are characterized and the factors of creating effective teams are indicated.
RESEARCH RESULTS: The main conclusion of the presented analysis is that an employee creating a virtual team should be characterized not only by professional competences, but also by “soft” competences, which are included in the key competences in the future. The basic factor of the effectiveness of virtual teams is a common goal, the implementation of which is possible thanks to determined employees with a specific competency profile.
CONCLUSIONS, INNOVATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: The text presents key competences of the future for employees of virtual teams. Their analysis made it possible to identify the factors conditioning the creation of effective teams. The article may be used to reflect on the competency model of the employee of the future. In order to get to know these issues in-depth, it is necessary to undertake in-depth research.
